Nowcasting International provides a solution for all Marine Weather Forecasting issues. Its High Resolution Forecasting System, Nowcasting Pro 5, is the world-leading product of its type. With Nowcasting Pro 5, it is possible to see a clear picture of what the weather will be like exactly where you are in hourly time steps for the coming 24 hours, 3 hourly time steps for the following 24 hours and 6 hourly for the successive 24 hours. The resolution is higher than virtually any other forecast, and is presented at 15 nautical miles intervals on an easy to use interactive map interface.
NowcastingWilkens is a partnership between Nowcasting International and Wilkens Weather Technologies that provides a more conventional forecasting service, giving general forecasts out to 10 days. With forecast centres in Aberdeen, Scotland and Houston, Texas, clients have telephone access to forecasters 24 hours a day – these forecasters have extensive knowledge and experience of the different world basins.
Other services provided by Nowcasting International are OILMAP and SARMAP, used for Oil Spill and Search and Rescue Scenarios respectively, Hindcasting, to see what can be expected in a region by looking at what took place over the preceding years or decades and Loop and Eddy Observations in the Gulf of Mexico.
