Race report four: first finisher on the water

July 10, 2015

Class C vessel Ocean Spirit of of Moray (UK)  has had a very fast race due to the strong winds and gales and crossed the finish line this morning (Friday 10 July) – making her first on the water in the first race leg of The Tall Ships Races 2015.

She will be the first arrival in Aalesund, Norway – eager to replenish food and water and dry out before enjoying some cruising in the beautiful archipelago with some other competitors and returning to port again  to prepare for the festivities in the second port of The Tall Ships Races 2015.  The arrival deadline for all other vessels is 12 noon Wednesday 15 July.
