Give Someone Their Chance to Shine at the Sail Training International Annual Awards

September 7, 2016

We’re searching for the brightest sail training stars of 2016 and we need your help.

Every year, we meet hundreds of exceptional individuals who truly shine in the world of sail training. They are dedicated to helping young people from around the world grab the opportunity to take part in the adventure of a lifetime. Now, it’ time to recognise them for all their hard work at the Sail Training International Annual Awards.

Who’ made a splash in your sail training world? Who inspires you? Who regularly demonstrates best practice? And who has made an extraordinary contribution? We believe that these people should receive the recognition they deserve by winning an award.

Jonathan Cheshire, Chairman of the Selection Committee for the STI Awards and STI Trustee:

“Everyone who has sailed in the Races or Regattas, or is involved in sail training outside of our events, will have come across well deserving candidates for the STI Awards this year.

“There have been some fantastic examples of best practice out in the field. So, it’ down to you to give these organisations and people the recognition they deserve and nominate them. It not only benefits them and the sail training community, but if you are a sail trainer you could even nominate yourself – which is a terrific marketing opportunity to promote your own organisation to an international audience. All you have to do it fill in a form – it’ that easy.”

The deadline for nominations is 1 October.
