Riga, the historic capital of Latvia and a UNESCO World Heritage Site, will host the International Sail Training and Tall Ships Conference 2012. It will be held on 16-17 November at Radisson Blu Latvija. As one of the major commercial, cultural and financial centres of the Baltic, Riga is an important sea port. The city was a host port for The Tall Ships Races for the first time in 2003, and will host the fleet again in 2013.
