A Coruña, Spain is the final port of the series and is welcoming the fleet back for the eleventh time – making it the host port to have hosted the most Tall Ships race events ever. 

A Coruña is in northern Spain. It’s a busy port located on a promontory in the entrance of an estuary in a large gulf on the Atlantic Ocean. It’s the richest region of Galicia - an autonomous community in northwest Spain, and its economic engine.

This is a city surrounded on all sides by the ocean. Over the last 2000 years people from all kinds of cultures have come and gone, leaving their stamp on what has become a distinctive atmosphere unique to A Coruña.

A Coruña has developed in to a modern city with strong links to the fashion and textile industries, producing garments for companies who have shops all over the world.
