Morgenster Update 3: What delights me most is that Wyvern (the pole saws) came in first place in their class. Ellets Prolific does it very well and Stina Mari holds fifth place overall. Saa Norway is well represented.

Morgenster Update 2: But they are very nice and it is an experience to be on board. The ship is very nice to sail and the Nerdelandske ships generally have a very good reputation. Life on board is something you will quickly used to, but is not without difficulties. There is a change to share as little space with so many. It's something you quickly come to expect. Right now, I will soon watch aa glder me a bit to sleep an hour or two to get some food. After we were told about the assumptions on his race, we got a little more time to explore the harbor and the boat with a utseling the 25th July 11 am Following the race starting at 6, we tried the ship and made several maneuvers. For we headed towards Stavanger. For a Saanen ships mother Forester is a lot important. That we lack right now. The weather is generally fine, but with some rain and cold winds. We can see several ships around us including Sorlandet Eendracht Tecla and we can barely make out the Christian Radich.

Morgenster Update: On board Morgenster are four trainees sent from the Stavanger region. We are all young people between 15 to 21 years, with varying sailing experience. We came on board in Lerwic in Shetland on July 23. We were well received by the Dutch crew and of course the other trainees where the majority is French or Dutch. The harbor was full of ships, and the special was that all the ships flag at half mast and defleste boats had Norwegian falg alongside their national falg, plus GB / Shetland. A memorial ceremony for the Norwegians, and especially medseliere held at Statsraad Lehmkuhl On board, we are a total of 41 and Morgenster is a Class A ship is rigged to a Brig. The ship is relatively new building and it is seen on both the ship and especially the interior. Vaktsystmet to be used is a 4, 8 system, ie 4 hours on watch and 8 hours off. The ship has a very good environment but the language can easily become a problem. In particular, not all can be French.
